A Great Party Favor Idea!

Once I saw this container with this charming monkey on top of the lid and I was dreaming to get one like that!
I realize that they were pretty easy to make and that they were almost everywhere!
So here we go with the recipe.

 you will need...

Primer
Paint
Container
Accessory to decorate the jar
Hot Glue Gun

First paint the lid with the primer. When the primer is dry paint the lid with your chosen color. Using the hot glue stick the accessory. The container is ready! Now you just have to fill it with something you like in this case we fill it with a yummy chocolate cake!

Gabriela's First Birthday

For Gabriela’s first birthday I was planning a camp beach party but nothing went as I expected.
To start it was raining the whole week, all my family got sick and the birthday girl was with pneumonia. So I had to change the plans in the last minute and how I couldn’t stand not celebrating I had to improvise. I ran to party city bought candies and balloons, went to fresh market and bought a cake, invited a few friends and voila… we did a party!
I really feel that I’m crazy for party!
Hope you enjoy the pics…

Teacher’s Week

To celebrate the teachers Carolina (my four years old daughter) helped me design this beautiful card made with lots of love!
To start she made a beautiful paint which I scanned and did some typography!
She was all the time showing me her artwork and saying that she was giving them her love. It was when I had the idea to type “With all of my Heart” playing with the art word.
To fill the plastic bags Carolina painted hearts with water color, she filled with confetti, thank you thoughts (like: thank you for your patience, for teaching me, for caring,…) and the first letter of  her teachers name.
Check the pictures!

Life's a Party!

Because  life is a party and we have to celebrate when Gabriela was turning eleven months I created this beautiful hat and she had a great time playing party with her sisters!

Manu’s Butterfly Garden

Manuela was turning one and to celebrate her big day I designed a special party for her.
For the dessert table I used dessert plates glued in to teacups and for the kids table I glued a nest in to plastic cups so it could keep them safe while picking their treats
Also for the kids table I designed bird houses in which they could take the roof off and find their snack inside.
The cake and the cupcakes were beautifully made by www.thebakinggirl.com
For the water labels I tried to play with the same pattern fabric used at the bird houses.
With Martha Stewart butterfly punch I cut the butterflies that I decorated the straws.
I hope you like the pictures!
